2. What we collect
Information you give us
Contact form. When you send us a message we collect your name, email address, and the content of your message. We use this only to reply to you.
Comments. If you leave a comment we collect the name, email address and website you provide, together with your IP address and browser user agent string. This is standard WordPress behaviour and helps us detect spam.
Information collected automatically
Server logs. Our hosting provider records IP addresses, browser type, referring page and the time of each request. These logs exist for security and troubleshooting.
Cookies. See Section 4 below.
3. Why we process your data, and our legal basis
Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) we must have a lawful basis for processing your personal data. Ours are:

Where we later rely on consent — for analytics or advertising cookies — you will be asked first, and you can withdraw that consent at any time. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that already took place.
4. Cookies
Cookies are small files stored on your device.
Strictly necessary cookies. Required for the site to function — session handling, security, and remembering your cookie preferences. These cannot be switched off.
Affiliate tracking cookies. When you click a link to a course we recommend, the merchant or their affiliate network — including ClickBank — may set a cookie recording that you arrived from Verbary. If you then make a purchase, we receive a commission. This cookie records a referral identifier and a date. It does not identify you to us, and we never see your payment details.
You can control cookies through your browser settings. Blocking them may break parts of the site.
5. Affiliate links
Verbary earns commission on some links on this site. When you click one and make a purchase, the merchant pays us a percentage at no additional cost to you.
Clicking an affiliate link takes you to a third-party website. Once you are there, that website's privacy policy applies, not ours. We do not receive your name, address or payment information from these merchants — only anonymised confirmation that a referred sale occurred.

6. Who we share data with
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with service providers who help us operate the site:
- Hosting provider — stores the website and its data
- Email provider — delivers messages sent through the contact form
- Affiliate networks — ClickBank and merchant partners, for referral tracking
We may also disclose data where we are legally required to do so.
7. International transfers
Some of the providers above are based outside the European Economic Area, including in the United States. Where personal data is transferred outside the EEA, we rely on safeguards recognised under the GDPR — typically Standard Contractual Clauses or an adequacy decision such as the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.
8. How long we keep it
- Contact form messages: up to 24 months after our last exchange
- Comments: indefinitely, unless you ask us to remove them
- Server logs: typically 30 days, as configured by our hosting provider
9. Your rights
If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Correct anything inaccurate
- Erase your data
- Restrict how we process it
- Object to processing based on legitimate interests
- Portability — receive your data in a machine-readable format
- Withdraw consent at any time, where processing is based on consent

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, you may lodge a complaint with the Slovak Data Protection Authority:

California residents. You have the right to know what personal information we collect and how it is used, to request its deletion, to opt out of any sale or sharing of personal information, and not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights. We do not sell personal information. To make a request, email info@verbary.co.
10. Children
Verbary is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
11. Security
We use HTTPS across the site, keep software updated, and limit access to the data we hold. No website can guarantee absolute security, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the site changes. The date at the top shows when it was last revised. Significant changes will be noted on this page.
